Simple and effective recipes for the whole house. Some can be made in a flash.

For laundry

Nothing could be more economical or simpler.
In a saucepan:

  • Melt 50g of Marseille soap in 1L of hot water.
  • Stir until completely dissolved.
  • Fill another container with 1 L of room temperature water.
  • Pour in 2 heaped tablespoons of baking soda and 1 heaped tablespoon of washing soda.

🛑 Be careful when handling these ingredients. Protect your hands and eyes.

  • Mix then pour the contents of the container into the soap container.
  • Mix again.
  • Pour everything into the detergent bottle using a funnel.
  • Let the cocktail sit overnight before use.

And to go a little further: replace your chemical fabric softener with half a glass of white vinegar.

  • 250 ml of white vinegar in a bottle;
  • 750 ml of water;

Leave the mixture aside for several hours. A paste will form. Add a little water if necessary. Mix vigorously. For a smooth liquid, blend in a blender. Using a funnel, pour your homemade dish soap into a reusable container.

🛑 Caution: washing soda can be irritating. Handle with care.

To degrease

A homemade degreaser in 3 minutes flat:

  • Dilute 30g of soda crystals with 500ml of hot water.
  • Add 20 drops of lemon essential oil for its degreasing action. Or tea tree essential oil for its antifungal and disinfectant action.
  • Spray and leave to act for at least 15 minutes, or even overnight for stubborn stains.

To detach

Make your own natural stain remover for clothes with just two ingredients:

  • Pour 50 cl of water into your reusable bottle.
  • Add 3 tablespoons of baking soda.
  • Add 1 capful of liquid black soap.
  • Shake, it's ready!

All that's left is to apply it directly to the stain. Leave it on for at least half an hour before putting it in the washing machine.
